Communication provided in line with the legislative decree dated 30/06/2003 “Privacy Code”
In accordance with Art. 13 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 dated 30/06/2003 on the protection of persons and other subjects, we inform you hereby that the Alpine School Drei Zinnen/ Tre Cime di Lavaredo duly processes all personal data pertaining to any customer, business partner, supplier or any such person who voluntarily provides us with their personal data (via telephone, fax or email).

In accordance with the provisions of the legislative decree no. 196, all personal data are processed according to our in-house principles of confidentiality and professionalism.

The personal data our company is provided with are either collected directly from our customers or from third-parties, e.g. obtained from external companies for trade information, market research or direct marketing of products and services. In case of external data collection a notice will be served at the moment of registration or first contact.

Furthermore, our company might be provided with “sensitive” data due to the activities our customers are engaged in. As defined by the law, the processing of sensitive data requires the explicit acceptance by the customer.

Purposes and aims of data processing

The fulfilment of statutory duties resulting from decrees, community standards as well as according to civil and tax laws.

The fulfilment of contractual obligations of all parties involved.

Inspection and control of the system’s efficiency.

The carrying out of all activities connected to our business, as for example the compilation of internal statistics, for accountancy rules as well as for the customer and supplier accounting.

Commercial purposes, e.g. the transmission of trade data and advertising material (via mail, fax, or email), marketing and market research.

The protection of claims and management of liabilities.

Actuarial aims, mainly credit insurance.

Inquiries on customer satisfaction concerning the quality of our products and services, which may be carried out by ourselves or by specialised companies through telephone interviews, questionnaires, etc.

Data processing

With reference to the above stated purposes and aims, personal data may be processed manually, through electronic or telematic systems, through methods directly related to the aims, but, in any case, by guaranteeing the safety and confidentiality of the data.
With reference to the above stated aims, your personal data may be forwarded on request to:

public administration and authority, when legally provided

To banks our company has business relationships with for receivables/ liabilities as well as financing; to any natural and/or legal, public or private persons (legal, administrative and tax consultant, courts, chambers of commerce, etc.)

whenever such forwarding may be necessary or expedient to our business activity as well as according to the purposes and aims listed above.

The above mentioned subjects, to whom the data may be forwarded, handle the data as holders according to the law, i.e. completely independently as they are outside of the original data processing effected by our company.

Dissemination of data

The personal data processed by our company will not be subject to dissemination.

Data processing

The personal data may be processed with or without the assistance of electronic means; in any case however, with automatic means. The processing includes all operations provided by Art. 4, paragraph 1, letter a of the Italian legislative decree no. 196 dated 30/06/2003. In any case, the data processing is carried out in accordance with all safety measures which guarantee the safety and privacy of the data.

Rights of the parties concerned

The data privacy law entitles the parties concerned to exercise certain rights in line with Article 7. In particular, the party concerned has a right to know about and obtain information on the presence of personal data. Moreover, the party concerned is entitled to be informed on the origin of the data, their purpose and the form of processing, as well as on the system in case of electronic data processing. They also have the right to know the details of the holders and those in charge of the data processing as well as of the persons or categories of persons who might transfer the data.

The parties concerned are entitled to rectify, complete, and control their data as well as to submit a request that their data are deleted, blocked or that they are converted into anonymous data if the data processing is in violation of the provision of the law. For legitimate reasons, the party concerned has the right to refuse the processing of his or her personal data wholly or in part, even if relevant to the purpose of collection; furthermore, he or she has the right to oppose the processing of personal data without a justified reason if they are used for commercial information, for sending advertising material, for direct sales or market research.

The rights under discussion may be asserted by the party concerned or by any person appointed by him or her by means of a request sent to the responsible of the Alpine School Drei Zinnen/ Tre Cime di Lavaredo by registered mail or email.

The holder of the data processing is

Alpinschule Drei Zinnen. The Company reserves the right to modify and to revise the present communication at any time, especially in case of amendments of the law and/or new regulations.
