Cantone dei Grigioni – petit Haute Route deluxe
The Graubünden Haute Route is a ski tour for connoisseurs and for those who like something extra special! Maximum climbs of 1,000 m gain per day and long downhill runs, for example across Val Mulix offer everything a ski tourer’s heart desires.
A highlight of the week is a trip from Preda to Bergün with the Rhaetian Railway that was awarded UNESCO world cultural heritage status in 2008, followed by an overnight stay in the Kurhotel Bergün in the idyllic Swiss mountain village of Bergün. The 6-day tour includes maximum climbs of 1,000 m gain per day and long downhill runs up to maximum 1,500 m gain. Suitable for pleasure ski tourers who are planning their first crossing. Climb of Piz Kesch (3,418 m) possible.
Programme
day 1: Meeting point in the hotel in Zernez and briefing for the week ahead. Next day early morning start and travel by train/taxi to Julierpass.
day 2: Vedutta/Julierpass–Cna Jenatsch
day 3: Cna Jenatsch-Preda-Madulain–Cna d’Es-cha
day 4: Cna d’Es–cha-Cna digl Kesch
day 5: Cna digl Kesch–Cna Grialetsch
day 6: Cna Grialetsch–Susch
