Current Via Ferrata Conditions

Here you can find the current conditions on the via ferrata of the Sesto Dolomites and the surrounding area.

Given that conditions in the mountains can change daily, and at times even hourly, the information provided serves as a general guideline. It is crucial to assess on-site conditions for an accurate evaluation.

Successful independent tours on the via ferratas of Sexten and the surrounding region demand good physical preparation, a solid foundation in alpine experience, surefootedness, proficiency in via ferrata climbing, appropriate equipment, and stable weather conditions.

Please note: Via ferratas do not undergo regular official safety checks. Erosion and thunderstorms have the potential to loosen anchors and ropes, transforming them into dangerous traps. Caution is of utmost importance!

If the conditions on the day of your ascent differ from those listed here, we would be pleased to receive your feedback.
