Day 1: Hike to Rifugio Pian di Cengia / Büllelejochhütte– A hidden gem in the Dolomites
We begin our adventure in the Val Fiscalina (1,453 m) near Sesto. Our route takes us past the Rifugio Comici (2,223 m) and on to a little-known panoramic spot called Kanzel (2,532 m). This viewpoint is a true hidden treasure—quiet, wild, and full of surprises. With a bit of luck, we might spot marmots or even a chamois, far from the crowds.

We then continue to the Rifugio Pian di Cengia, the smallest and perhaps coziest hut in the Tre Cime region. It offers a warm, rustic atmosphere and delicious, home-cooked food.

Day 2: A Summit with a View to Remember
After a hearty breakfast, we head toward the famous Rifugio Tre Cime Locatelli (2,405 m) and then up to the summit of Sasso di Sesto (2,539 m). Here, the dramatic north faces of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo rise before us – a sight you’ll never forget.

Our descent follows a peaceful, scenic trail down to the Tre Scarperi Hut (1,639 m), and finally to the Antoniusstein parking area (1,500 m). From there, it’s an easy shuttle or walk back to the main road, where the bus will bring us to the starting point.
