Dear mountain friends,
we have a brand new video for you.
This time we take you to the Lofoten in Norway.
The Lofoten islands are located off the coast of Norway within the Arctic Circle. Here the warmth of the Gulf stream creates large snowfalls and makes for a comparatively mild climate despite the high latitude. The islands characterised by rugged mountains, blue fjords and steeply sloping flanks also boast gentle hills whose long and open slopes are ideal for ski-touring.
Our accommodation is in a cosy robeur fishing hut in the Norwegian fishing village of Svolvaer, on the island Austvagoya. Svolvaer is surrounded by many wonderful ski‑touring hikes that are easily accessible by car. The energy-laden and rugged mountain and sea landscape of the Lofoten islands is sure to leave you with life long memories!
Our mountain guides have been to these magical islands regularly for 10 years and know them like the back of their hand.
Watch it, enjoy it and leave a comment.
Have nice climbing experiences,
your TEAM of the Alpine School Tre Cime di Sesto
