Cima Grande di Lavaredo – Dibona Ridge (IV+ 500m)

The Dibona Ridge stands as one of the classic Alpine climbs in the Dolomites.

Spanning 20 pitches, this route gracefully traces the northeastern ridge to reach the summit of Cima Grande.

Named after the pioneer who officially ascended it, the climb may have witnessed its inaugural conquest a year earlier in 1908 by Rudi Eller of Lienz, who free solo climbed it.

The primary challenges lie in the initial third of the rock face, demanding a heightened level of focus for both the ascent and descent from Cima Grande.

In essence, the Dibona Ridge promises a multifaceted climbing adventure in an Alpine setting.
