Geierwand – Palfrader VII-
The 250-metre-high Geierwand is divided by an impressive ravine. The Palfrader route crosses it in an elegant line.
Thanks to the southern exposure and the relatively low summit height, the route offers good conditions even in cold temperatures or average weather. The seven pitches with a sixth degree of difficulty require technical and demanding climbing.
Especially among local climbers, the Palfrader is considered worthy of being called an “insider tip” and, in terms of its beauty, is in no way inferior to many of the great and well-known Dolomite classics.
