Via Ferrata Severino Casara along the Croda dei Toni

The hiking trail around the Croda dei Toni has been almost impassable and officially closed for decades due to strong erosion. As part of the renovation, the Via Ferrata was established in 2015, with the help of which the eroded passages can be skilfully climbed. The new via ferrata in the Sesto Dolomites was opened in 2015.
The Via Ferrata follows a rock band along the south side of the Croda dei Toni. The rocky gorges can be crossed by airy Tibetan suspension bridges, tricky climbing passages await experienced ferratisti and the wild, bizarre Dolomite landscape make the via ferrata an insider’s tip.
